PRACTICE PHILOSOPHY:

Our practice philosophy is based on the belief that a pleasant smile and a well functioning set of teeth are of tremendous benefit to a person’s self esteem and sense of well being. Dr. Portalupi and his professional team are dedicated to providing the highest quality of orthodontic care in a warm, gentle, and compassionate manner with an emphasis on customer service and satisfaction.

FINANCIAL MATTERS:

We offer several financial options and payment plans to meet the different budgets of today’s families. Our treatment coordinator works hard to solve financial concerns so that needed orthodontic services can be afforded by all. We strive to keep our fees low enough to be fair and affordable and yet high enough so that we can maintain the highest standards of quality in care and personalized service. If you have orthodontic insurance coverage, will be happy to assist you in billing your insurance carrier.

ABOUT DR. PORTALUPI:

Dr. Portalupi practiced General Dentistry for ten years in Sonoma County before going back to the University of the Pacific for Orthodontic Specialty training. His experience in general dentistry has been helpful in evaluating orthodontic treatment in relation to other dental needs. In 1989 he came to Woodland to establish his orthodontic specialty practice.

Dr. Portalupi was born and raised in the small lumber town of Arcata on the Humboldt County Coast in Northern California. He is married to his high school sweetheart and they have 6 children. His interests include gardening, hiking, jogging, classical music, and short expeditions to California historical sites with his wife and children.
