COLD SORE

The herpes virus causes cold sores. Often times this virus lies dormant within the tissues and becomes activated by sunlight fever sickness, or trauma. The virus causes blisters of the upper and lower lips that become pustules, scab and heal without scarring. Treatment is by application of a topical prescription of 5% " Zovirax Ointment". Severe cases may require a systemic prescription of; " Acyclovir, Denavir or Valtrex."
